Alternative Mentoring
Group mentorship provides emotional and social support, fostering a nurturing environment where children feel valued and loved.
DBN supports disadvantaged youth, through after-school programs, safe spaces, and resources that support academic success, physical health, social wellness, and character development. These services include mentoring, sports, arts and crafts, and access to technology.
Safe and supportive environments: we partner with local recreation centers to offer a safe haven for youth, particularly during out-of-school hours.
Academic support: Services to help promote positive school behavior.
Health and wellness: Activities to promote physical fitness and healthy habits.
Character and leadership development: Programs designed to build strong character and leadership skills in young people.
Arts and recreation: Opportunities for creative expression through arts, crafts, and sports.
Technology access: Access to computers and technology training.
